Meet the Team

Stephen and Andrea have been married and in ministry for 23 years, living a life centered on faith, family, and the call of God. With two amazing teenagers, their home is full of joy, laughter, and coffee. They carry a deep passion to see people encounter the presence of God, walk in the fullness of His promises, and live out their God-given purpose. Their heart is for Vessels Church to be more than a building—it’s a Spirit-filled home where lives are transformed and Jesus is at the center of it all.

Sylvia served alongside her late husband, Charles, for  40 years.  Together they served God's people with passion, truth and love.  Today she continues to serve  through teaching as well as counseling members through life's journeys. 

Hannah Higgins is the Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor, keeping things running smoothly and making sure the team and church family are supported every step of the way. Her warm spirit and contagious smile light up Vessels Church, making everyone feel welcomed and valued.

Ryan and Wyndi Balden serve as dedicated youth pastors with a deep passion for investing in the next generation. With a heart for mentoring, teaching, and walking alongside students in their faith journey, they create a welcoming environment where young people can grow in their relationship with Christ, discover their God-given purpose, and build lifelong connections. Their ministry is marked by authenticity, energy, and a genuine love for seeing young lives transformed.  They are raising 3 wonderful kids who love Jesus and shine in their own right!

Jarrod and Connianna carry a deep passion for God’s Kingdom and His people. They are devoted to seeing Young Adults encounter the transforming power of Jesus, have their hearts set ablaze by the Holy Spirit, and live boldly for His glory. At home, they’re blessed with two adorable little ones who fill their lives with joy, laughter, and a daily reminder of God’s goodness.

Hitzel is passionate about creating a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment where kids can grow in their faith. With two kids of her own, she understands the importance of a loving environment to teach the Next Generation about the Love of God. Hitzel has made a huge impact on the young hearts of Vessels.

Amy Brown serves faithfully as our Café Coordinator and Team Lead, bringing warmth, kindness, and a smile that makes everyone feel right at home. She has a God-given gift for creating a welcoming, joy-filled space in our café—making Sundays not just sweeter, but a place where people can connect, feel loved, and experience the heart of Jesus.

Ryan and Wyndi have a deep passion for community and believe that true connections happen in smaller more intimate settings. As Small Group Directors they are dedicated to helping you find your people! 

Gary leads our security team with a steadfast commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment at Vessels Church. With a watchful eye and a servant's heart Gary reflects the love of Christ through his service. And as Gary always says "I am just a doorkeeper in the Lord's house."

LaQuice serves as our Nursery Coordinator, caring for the youngest members of Vessels Church with a heart full of love and patience. She creates a safe, joyful, and Spirit-filled environment where little ones are nurtured and prayed over from the very start. Her gentle spirit and genuine care help plant seeds of faith that will grow for years to come.

Kurt and Laurie have been married for 23 years and have a servant's heart for married couples. They have a desire to see healthy and thriving marriages at Vessels.  Along with being amazing encourages, they have a heart of prayer and passion for growing in God's word.
